Prepaid Treatments & Gift Cards

This page sets out the terms that apply to gift cards and prepaid treatment packages purchased from Aura Skin Boutique.

1. Gift cards

Where to buy

Gift cards are available online at auraskinboutique.com.au and in clinic.

Values

Gift cards are sold in fixed denominations (e.g. $50, $100, $150, $250, $500) and as a custom amount. Minimum $25, maximum $1,000 per card.

Validity

Under Australian Consumer Law, gift cards purchased on or after 1 November 2019 are valid for at least three (3) years from the date of issue. The expiry date is printed on the card and shown in the confirmation email.

How to redeem

Bring the gift card or your confirmation email (printed or on a screen) to your appointment. The card balance can be applied to any treatment or product. If your booking exceeds the card balance, the difference is payable on the day.

Lost cards

We can reissue a gift card only where you can provide proof of purchase (receipt, original confirmation email). A reissue will preserve the original expiry date and any remaining balance.

Refunds

Gift cards are non-refundable and cannot be redeemed for cash. They are transferable — you can give the card to another person, who may redeem it on the same terms.

Combinations

You may use a gift card together with another gift card, a discount code, or a prepaid balance, unless the discount terms specify otherwise.

2. Prepaid treatment packages

Some treatments are offered in courses (e.g. six-session microneedling, eight-session laser hair removal). When you purchase a course, you are paying in advance for a defined number of sessions at a discounted price-per-session.

Validity

Prepaid courses must be used within 12 months from the date of purchase, unless a different period is stated at the time of sale. Unused sessions outside that window expire.

Booking your sessions

You may book sessions in advance or one at a time. Reasonable spacing between sessions is part of the treatment plan and your therapist will advise.

Cancellations

Our standard cancellation policy applies to each session of a prepaid course. A late-cancellation fee for any single session will be deducted from the package balance.

Refunds and transfers

• Change of mind: Prepaid courses are non-refundable for change of mind once any session has been used.
• Unused courses: A fully unused prepaid course may be refunded within 14 days of purchase with proof of purchase. After 14 days, we may offer store credit at our discretion.
• Medical reasons: If you can no longer continue a course for documented medical reasons, please contact us. We will offer a refund of unused sessions or a transfer to a different treatment of equivalent value.
• Transfer to another person: Prepaid courses may be transferred to another person with our written agreement.

Discontinued treatments

If we discontinue a treatment included in your prepaid course, we will offer to:

• Transfer remaining sessions to an equivalent treatment, or
• Refund the unused balance.

3. Promotional codes and stackable discounts

Promotional codes are valid only for the period stated. Codes cannot be applied retrospectively to past purchases. Unless stated otherwise, only one promotional code may be used per transaction. Promotional codes cannot be combined with prepaid treatment package pricing.
