Why threading over waxing
Thread gives us more control than wax, so we can follow your natural brow line hair by hair and get a sharper, more symmetrical shape. Nothing hot or sticky goes near your skin, which makes it a good choice if you use retinol or acids, have sensitive skin, or just find waxing takes too much off. It is also gentler on the delicate skin around the brow.
What to expect
It takes about fifteen minutes. You will feel a light, quick pull as we work, which most people find very manageable, and any pinkness settles within the hour. Come in with your usual brows; the more hair we have to shape, the better the result. We are happy to map a shape with you first if you are growing them out or changing your look.
How often, and adding a tint
Most people rethread every three to four weeks as the hair grows back. Adding a brow tint makes the shape look fuller and buys you a little longer between visits. If your brows are flat or unruly rather than just untidy, ask us about lamination.
